Bimetallic ammeter with red slave pointer for displaying the maximum value. The instrument is based on two bimetallic spirals working against each other - one current-controlled, the other temperature-compensating - and provides reliable measurements in the temperature range from -10°C to +55°C.
The thermally inert measuring mechanism displays the average effective value - short-term current peaks are suppressed. Ideal for monitoring the thermal load of cables, lines and transformers.
A sealable reset button allows the maximum value pointer to be manually reset to the current measured value.
